Kia ora Eli I’m River, a year six student at Paihia School. I like your blog post about your captive recount because you explained your work very well. Hello Eli my name is Manaaki and I am a year 6 and I’m ten years old. I like your blog post about captivating recounts. I like it because it rhymes in the slides and the seaweed swishing around your head and the waves crashing on the big rocks. My favorite recount was the taste one and it was: I could taste the saltwater in my throat. What was your favorite recount?

I liked how you described the experience of a person swimming in the sea and how you explained your own experience with the help of five senses, what animals voices you hear, the taste of the salty sea water, the smell of the salty sea and what types of animals you saw.
