  1. Kia ora Eli I’m River, a year six student at Paihia School. I like your blog post about your captive recount because you explained your work very well. You explained it well by saying what it sounds like, what it tastes like, what it looks like and what it smells like. I also like hearing waves hitting rocks against the shore lines.
    Did your pauas taste nice?

  2. Hello Eli my name is Manaaki and I am a year 6 and I’m ten years old. I like your blog post about captivating recounts. I like it because it rhymes in the slides and the seaweed swishing around your head and the waves crashing on the big rocks. My favorite recount was the taste one and it was: I could taste the saltwater in my throat.
    What was your favorite recount?

  3. Hello Eli my name is Savitri and I am a year six student from Paihia School. I liked how you described the experience of a person swimming in the sea and how you explained your own experience with the help of five senses, what animals voices you hear, the taste of the salty sea water, the smell of the salty sea and what types of animals you saw.

What is your favorite sea animal??

  4. Hi Eli, my name is Marley and I am a year six student at Paihia School. I really like your blog post about captivating recount because you put lots of detail into your work. What you put lots of detail in was what you could see, what you could hear, what your could taste, what your could smell and what you could feel. I also like how you put backgrounds into your work that kind of matched with what you were talking about.

Is there anything else that you did like this?
